We value kids and families at Cornerstone. We always want your family to feel welcome at Cornerstone, no matter what it looks like.

Everyone Has A Story: 2017 Series

In 2017 our focus is: Everyone has a story. We will be learning about our stories, stories of real men and women in the Bible, and God’s Big Story of His great love for us!

Big Impact Kids: 3-12

kids1When you arrive, you will notice we have a special area set up just for kids in the main worship space. We have guided creative stations for them that help them explore worship and prayer in child-friendly ways. We believe kids worship differently than grown-ups and we want to give kids space and freedom to worship Jesus in their own unique ways.

After the worship time, Pastor Jonathan will lead us in praying a blessing for the children, and then they will head to Big Impact Kids with their teacher. There they will explore God’s Word in a way that is fun, applicable and practical for children. Big Impact Kids is for ages 3-12, where we learn, all together, in an informal setting where bigger kids can challenge and encourage little kids throughout the lesson. We believe this helps everyone grow, as older kids get hands on experience encouraging and mentoring younger kids.

Big Impact Babies: 0-2

IMG_3843The nursery is the first experience of church for our littlest ones. We want our nursery to be a safe, fun place where babies and toddlers can play, rest, and experience God’s love during the service. It also serves to give busy moms and dads a chance to take a breath and spend some time hearing from God in the service so they can be better equipped to parent during the week. Our nursery is open for all our babies and toddlers ages 0-2. The nursery opens at 9:30am and runs through the duration of the service. Parents are welcome to stay and watch the service on the screen or drop their baby off and head to the main worship space.

Our Team:

Because we value your child’s safety and well being, we spend a lot of time screening our volunteers and training them so when your family arrives you can breath easier. Have a question about our screening process? Email Erika Thornton, our Family Ministries Director.
